That’s why the application method was important to me, because, in my opinion, a product designed for shaping eyebrows should be easy to use and allow you to quickly achieve the perfect effect. After all, not all of us are skilled makeup artists! Easy application combined with great effects is key!
Therefore, when choosing a brow mascara, I paid attention to the brush and what results it allowed me to achieve. The quality of a given mascara was also a key factor as well as its pigmentation and makeup effects. The price-quality ratio was also important as was the durability of the product. I tried to avoid brow mascaras that came with strange brushes (for example, huge ones), in terrible shades, and hopeless formulas.

Nanobrow’s brow mascara comes in a large size, it features great efficiency, and above all, I love the beautiful shades and the superb brush, which works sensationally and makes my eyebrows look gorgeous with just one coat! The small, refined brush perfectly coats even small brow hairs and evenly covers them with color. This is the best eyebrow makeup product I’ve had, without a doubt! Absolutely no sticky finish or overburdened eyebrows. This eyebrow mascara stays fresh thanks to its great formula all the way to the end! I’m not at all surprised that Nanobrow Shape Mascara is such an eagerly recommended brow mascara and that it gets such great online reviews. 2. LANCOME SOURCILS STYLER BROW MASCARA
I like this eyebrow mascara mainly because of its cool-shaped brush, which is wider in the middle, making it very precise in coating all brow hairs with color. It ensures you can fill in your eyebrows evenly. A pleasant product, but a nightmarishly expensive one too. This eyebrow mascara comes in three shades. The brown shade has a slightly chestnut hue, at least in full sunlight, which is suitable for warm undertones. In the shade, it has a slightly different color… Hmm. Strange. Maybe it’s not a mascara for summer when the sun is out? 😀 Maybe it should only be used by Scandinavians living somewhere in the north, where sunny days are rare. 😀

3. BENEFIT COSMETICS GIMME BROW MASCARA
This brow mascara probably doesn’t need to be introduced to anyone, and you certainly did not doubt that it would rank in my ranking of the most popular mascaras. It’s a recommended brow mascara, often advertised among Instagrammers. It’s perfect for strong evening makeup. It provides a super-strong effect but when used wrongly, it can lead to an overdrawn and grotesque look. I can confidently recommend this eyebrow mascara to all fans of mascaras enriched with fibers because it’s the small fibers that add so much volume to the lashes. The didn’t work for me though, as the brush often glues my brow hairs together and I get tired of constantly brushing out the excess mascara.

Practically in every drugstore and online… well, maybe just Rossmann does not have this brow mascara in stock, but otherwise, it really is generally available.
4. DIOR DIORSHOW ON SET BROW MASCARA
This eyebrow mascara contains 90% natural ingredients and helps to define eyebrows nicely and improve your makeup routine. The formula is waterproof and lasts for 24 hours, and I have to say that the brows have a nice volume and are not stiff, and thanks to the extra microfibers they are thicker. Of course, you have to like the fibers – my eyebrows, for example, do not like them, they ended up looking quite cartoonish. So… Unfortunately, for me, this eyebrow mascara is out: it comes with a classic brush, so I don’t know how to use it not to stain the skin. You can choose from three shades and there’s a transparent version too… actually, I don’t know if the transparent brow mascara is still a mascara or a brow gel.

5. URBAN DECAY BROW MASCARA ENDOWED
Guess what! I included this brow mascara in the ranking because you often asked about it and asked me to review it. Probably because it’s a really unusual eyebrow mascara… Is it worth buying though? I know that the brand is well-known in the makeup world, but I think I’ll stick with their iconic brow powders instead of the mascara. Yes, it’s not bad, but it’s expensive and comes in a tiny size as it’s double-sided. The mascara takes up only half of the package, the rest is a transparent brow gel, which supposedly works as a primer, but it’s terribly thick. I usually do not use it at all when I define my eyebrows with mascara. The shades are nice and the brush is okay too, it’s small and slender. It works quite well. Well, but… the size, price, and its efficiency are far from impressive. There are 7 quite lovely shades to choose from, but beware of the brown ones – they are a bit too warm.

6. KIKO MILANO EYEBROW MASCARA
Another tinted brow mascara with fibers. What can I say about it… although it is a fairly often recommended eyebrow mascara, I don’t really like its messy spoolie. It glues my brow hairs together and I don’t know how to use it properly. It comes in 4 shades, which are a bit warm… in particular, the brow mascara for blondes is a bit weird as it is orange. This eyebrow mascara is designed to set and fill in the eyebrows while giving an unusual glossy effect. The formula is enriched with panthenol, and the gel-like consistency allows for precise shaping of the eyebrows and keeps them in place while adding shine. Plus for the fact that this eyebrow mascara is dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested. Oh, and the price… the price is really okay, although with this small size, it’s not surprising though, don’t you think? 😉

How to apply brow mascara?
I think most of you know how to apply eyebrow mascara: just brush through the brows with a spoolie, and to increase the effect, wait until the first coat dries and add another one. However, I’ll give you a trick for great brow makeup with mascara: before you brush the brows following the direction of their growth, first try to backcomb them, going downward. This will make them even more defined and voluminous!
