Battling cellulite? For me this means war! Let me tell you how to get rid of it

Hey, darlings.

I have waged a war. I will defeat cellulite once and for all. I’m not interested in half measures, I want to make it run for the hills and never come back. The summer is upon us and legs need to be shown. Besides exercise and diet, I will also use the right cosmetics. Those with the best composition turn out to be… homemade. This basically means that if you won’t do it yourself you shouldn’t expect much. Seriously, I trust the homemade recipes way more when it comes to cellulite because they contain more anti-cellulite ingredients. Just like that. If you want to learn all about what you should use for skincare to get rid of cellulite – read on.

Few opening words, I won’t be boring you with facts about what cellulite is and how it is created. It just happens. No matter if you have a few pounds extra or you’re slim… it’s not picky šŸ˜‰ The cause of it may be too little exercise, so you know… just move a little. However, you should also support your organism, homemade cosmetics for cellulite contain ingredients such as coffee, cinnamon, or ginger. You should consider preparing oil or a mask and use it 1-2 times a week. I, for one, use essential oils in my recipes. They are brilliant, but be careful because if you use too much of them can irritate the skin.

DIY cosmetics for cellulite

Anti-cellulite oil

To make anti-cellulite oil it would be awesome to use common juniper oil that is often used in slimming cosmetics. On the other hand, cypress oil stimulates blood and lymph circulation. It has an impact on the elimination of toxins and adipose deposits from the organism. Moreover, rosemary oil perfectly tones up the skin and the patchouli oil eliminates swelling. So, where will you find all the ingredients in one product? Exactly, nowhere. You have to mix it up yourself šŸ˜‰ So, let’s mix!

Ingredients:

  • 6 tbs of natural oil (I love sweet almond or argan),
  • 3 drops of common juniper essential oil,
  • 3 drops of patchouli essential oil,
  • 3 drops of cypress essential oil,
  • 3 drops of rosemary essential oil.

Pour all ingredients into one bowl and mix them up. Oil is a quite greasy product that you should rub in the skin 1-2 times a day in the areas where cellulite is present.

Body mask for cellulite

Do you have cellulite on your stomach, thighs, and buttocks? This body mask will kick its butt, so girls, join me in the kitchen! You will need coffee, cinnamon, and ginger. Coffee boosts blood circulation in the skin and improves elasticity. Ginger and cinnamon haveĀ warmingĀ properties so they will stimulate cellular metabolism and support water, fat, and lymph reduction.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ts of instant coffee,
  • 2 ts of cinnamon,
  • 1 ts of ginger,
  • 2 ts of spirit,
  • 1 ts of argan oil.

Brew the coffee in a small amount of water.
Add the rest of the ingredients.
Mix it. That’s it. Now to the application.
Apply this miraculous paste to the problematic areas. In order to avoid its dripping off wrap the area with plastic wrap. Hop in under the blanket so that your thighs have it warm and so that the body mask can additionally warm up the area.
Wash it off after 20 minutes and rub in previously made oil.
You should repeat this treatment twice a week.

Cinnamon body wrap for the cellulite

Well, okay. A body wrap is basically wrapping your body with plastic foil, so the previous one was also a body wrap… This one is just easier to do. You need just 2 things:

  • 5 packets of cinnamon
  • 1/2 a glass of water

Mix cinnamon with water but do it slowly adding small amounts. You have to create a thick cinnamon paste. Later on, apply it to the skin and wrap your body with the plastic wrap (just like above). Keep the body mask on for 30 minutes, then wash it off. I like to add some grapefruit essential oil to it. I add literally 3 drops of the oil because it is very strong, at least for my skin. After a month, you will see what an amazing anti-cellulite action homemade cosmetics have.
