Do you damage-proof your hair with a heat protectant before straightening or curling? If so, then it’s terrific! If not, you must start doing so. Heat is one of the most common causes of hair damage. Today I’ll round up my top thermal protection products that I like to use before heat styling.
Heat protectants work by building a kind of protective shield which stops the heat from affecting the hair. In turn, the risk of dryness, breakage and damage is reduced. They’re easy to apply and it takes just a moment. I’ve tried 4 top products among which a winner emerged. Check it out now!
4 Best Heat Protectants for Hair – My Round-Up

Nanoil Heat Protectant Spray
More info: www.nanoil.co.uk
My hair’s gotten much better thanks to hair masks from Nanoil. As soon as I saw a new thermal protection spray on the offer, I bought it. And I liked it right off. First, it’s very nice to use. Using it for some time now, I can see it’s gonna last me really long. The product is light so even when I happen to use too much it doesn’t weigh my hair down. It ensures protection from 430℉/220℃ – the greatest benefit for me. Bonus: Nanoil Heat Protectant safeguards the hair from the sunlight and faded hair colour as well (it’s great because I’ve got bleached hair). Apart from that, it’s a brilliant moisturising and repairing product thanks to added silk proteins. I also love its shine-boosting and delicate smoothing effect. It even leaves the hair easier to detangle. We get 200 ml for a very attractive price. To me, Nanoil Heat Protectant Spray is the best of the best.
There can only be one winner, but there are a few cool products and I’d love to share my results.

Ouai Heat Protection Spray
Very good ingredients made me try this one. Ouai Heat Protection Spray contains oils and botanical extracts which go well with my hair. It gets an A for such natural ingredients. This product secures the hair from extreme temperatures, plus adds manageability and hair looks like it was done by a hairdresser. It also extends the life of curls and straightened hair. The spray comes in a minimalist silver bottle. Too bad it’s so small and ends before we even notice.

Kérastase Chronologiste Thermique Régénérant Cream
Kérastase Chronologiste Thermique Régénérant Cream is one of many products in the black range by Kérastase. I also tested the beautifying hair oil and recommend it too. As far as the cream goes, I tried it before flat-ironing which involved high temperatures and it did well. It will be a good choice for those bothered by frizz. It brings maximum smoothness which lasts really long. I don’t like the form of cream, though. I’m a fan of hair mists because I can keep my hands clean. I got used to the texture but it’s not my favourite.

Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Heat/UV Protective
I put the spray from Bumble and Bumble at the end of the list for a reason. I needed time to get the hang of using it and started liking it but I know some girls complain about it. It’s because of the formula which works wonders for some users while overloading the hair in others. The product is based on six oils! This means it isn’t as lightweight as the above items. You need to be careful while applying it to avoid greasiness. If your hair goes with oils then I recommend trying Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Heat/UV Protective. If you’re not sure or you’ve got fine hair, then I think you should give it up.
You know which heat protectant is best for me. Let me know about your favorites. <3
